Windows 10, Microsoft’s latest operating system, comes bundled with telemetry and tracking services that are enabled by default. Microsoft insists that it is not spying, but simply trying to enhance the OS by understanding what its users do. Still, Windows 10 collects data, shares Wi-Fi passwords (albeit with encryption), and monitors the usage patterns of its users. Surprising as that may be, even older versions of Windows shared some information with Microsoft, so your sense of privacy may have been compromised for a long time without you knowing it.

With Windows Privacy Tweaker from Phrozen Software™, you no longer have to accept this intrusion on your privacy. Windows Privacy Tweaker easily restores all your settings to maximum safety levels, so you can have confidence that your data and usage history is safe. This lightweight utility works with Windows 10, 8/8.1, 7, and Vista.

You can use the following command lines to quickly end Microsoft’s access to your computer’s data:

  • /FIXALL : Fix all privacy issues (Services, Scheduled Tasks and Registry).
  • /RESTORE : Restore default Microsoft privacy settings.
  • /AUTOCLOSE : Close command line window when command tasks finished.
  • /REBOOT : Reboot computer when command tasks finished.

Je vous laisse deviner ce qu’il est possible de faire avec une GPO 😀
